The Week's Best-Dressed, 9-21-2012

While browsing on the net I came across some celebrities who I really loved what they wore. It's given me a few ideas for the blog so stay tune.

 

 

Ciara, was recently spotted at the famous Mr. Chow celebrating the release of her new single "Sorry" in New York City.

 

Ciara looks weekend chic in a boyfriend button-down, burgundy skinny's and nude Louboutin's.

 

The next look was Olympic Gold Medalist Allyson Felix was spotted at The Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 womenswear show at Kensington Gardens in London.

 

I must say that Ms. Felix gets a gold medal for this Burberry ensemble complete with studded Valentino kitten heels. This is a winning fashion moment for the Olympian.

 

Angela Simmons, whom I must say am not always so hype over her looks but must give credit to her for rocking  a custom gown by Edwing D’Angelo with a removable fish tail at her 25th birthday celebration at the Martin Lawrence Gallery in New York City.

 

 

Zoe Saldana has been creeping on my fashionable hit list this year. She was spotted at The 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. She was wearing a rose colored pleated Gucci gown. This look is to die for.

 

A Peachy Sunday

 

Don't get mad ladies just be glad I posted this outfit detail and yes I know it's a week old, lol. I am in love with floral prints on tops or dresses! This dress didnt need much to bring it to life because the peach and pink prints made a complete brown dress look like a millon bucks. I paired this look with a nude Steve Madden heels and accessories from Juicy Couture. So how do you like my look?

Taupe's In This Season

 

It's amazing that fall has fallen upon us already as we get ready to enter in the final months of 2012. For many of us we've been watching to see the latest trends for fall. Many may agree plum, olive or copper to be the new trend for eye wear.But, you never will guess that taupe will be the it for the fall season. Although it maybe a dull choice but it was the hottest thing we've seen for the fall.

 

The grayish brown hue can take on so many different nuances like silver, brown, purple and so on. I recommend wearing it across your entire lid by applying with a soft brush for a more daytime look. For a more night life effect try adding the shade into a smoky eye by blending it all around the lid with a soft brush and then pressing it into the lid at the crease for a more concentrated color. Simple Punk & Chic

I went bowling with my friends and I had a blast! Decided to tone it down a little wanted to wear something trendy but yet simple. I’ve finally gotten a pair eyeglasses from City Trends for only a few dollars and I used it as my focus point to create my outfit. I this sheer top with studs at the collar from Dots just a few weeks ago. I love my YMI skinny jeans they fit so well on my body and makes me feel smaller believe it or not, lol. A Floral Affair

OMG! I forgot to upload this pic, this was taken a few weeks ago at a bbq party! Very dressed down but my accessories brought this look alive! I paired a recently purchase tank top from my new fav store Cotton On with a pair of old army green colored capris and peach wedges. Let's Celebrate 3 Months!

 

Wow I can't believe it's been 3 months since I've been blogging! You all have seen me transform by building confidence in my self and personal style! I've gotten two awards just in my short time of fashion blogging! Wow God has been great to me! I am getting ready to move into my new place so I'll be shopping more for my new condo.

For the next 3 months I am getting a little more interactive with my readers. I'll be hosting twitter parties, giveaways, make tips & tricks, and this time around I'll be setting personal goals.

 I am a Weight Watcher's member! Jennifer Hudson inspired me! My goal is to loose 40 pounds before the end of the year and I am proud to say I am almost there. So ladies here it comes were going to set a goal for the rest of this month to loose a total of 5 pounds. Who's in for the ride?
