Last week was dress down day for Family & Friends at church! Plus it was a little chilly in sunny south Florida. It felt good to break out my blazer which I paired with my white flirty top from Love Culture! YMI offers sexy slim fitting jeans which gave me a little bit of length and shows off my curves! I just brought this Betsey Johnson handbag and taught it would be great to be paired with my outfit. So what do you think of my outfit?

Taupe's In This Season

 

It's amazing that fall has fallen upon us already as we get ready to enter in the final months of 2012. For many of us we've been watching to see the latest trends for fall. Many may agree plum, olive or copper to be the new trend for eye wear.But, you never will guess that taupe will be the it for the fall season. Although it maybe a dull choice but it was the hottest thing we've seen for the fall.

 

The grayish brown hue can take on so many different nuances like silver, brown, purple and so on. I recommend wearing it across your entire lid by applying with a soft brush for a more daytime look. For a more night life effect try adding the shade into a smoky eye by blending it all around the lid with a soft brush and then pressing it into the lid at the crease for a more concentrated color. Can You Say Peplum?

As the summer is winding down and the fall season coming upon us we're all scrambling around trying to gather our fall looks. One trend that I will keep going this fall season is the peplum trend. Why? It's ladylike and shapes a woman gracefully showing every curve God created. A peplum top can make your outfit stand out especially when paired with a simple pair of jeans. I love how the peplum skirt can also do the same to a simple top, ladies don't forget accessories with this look. Finally a peplum dress is perfect for the office, party or a causal outting thats just how amazing this trend is. So ladies please share your feed back about this trend!

New HOD!

So ladies I am not sure if you have seen some of the new ad's for Beyonce's clothing line House of Dereon. I am so in love with the new look it's very mature sexy and boho chic. With the closing of Dereon and the much anticipated fall/winter collection of the high end brand House of Dereon, Beyonce and her team were inspired to release a collection based off the performance at the Glastonbury Music Festival last year. 

The fall delivery is focused around the 'boho inspired girl who attends the festival and includes floor length skirts, casual jersey tops paired with denim that is an homage to the alternative rock bands, their music and eclectic sense of style.

The winter release focuses around Bee's Glastonbury stage performance looks. Lots of sequined styles and an intensified color palette that uses strong shades of ruby & amethyst ground with black to create a bold, exciting fashion statement that evokes a luxe party theme and speaks to a rocker in all of us.

Solange for Madewell

I am just loving on Solange Knowles, she knows where to take fashion to the next level. So it was no surprise that it has been revealed that she will be the face of Madewell's Fall 2012 ad campaign, "Mix Well. Madewell". This promotion is encouraging us to mix things up by styling boyfriend jeans with colorful pumps like yellow, pink or orange.

After watching the video on the site I feel so inspired to get my fall look together! Mos Def I'll be adding boyfriend styled jeans, stripes and prints with my neon colored heels!
